Pair of Art Deco Styled Figural Genie Princess Inspired Chalkware Table Lamps
About the Item
This pair of figural chalkware or plaster table lamps are unsigned, but presumed to have been made in the United States in approximately 1980 in an Art Deco style. The lamps depict a very detailed cast and hand painted Genie Princesses holding a cantilevered brass staff which holds the light fixture and shade. The figures are hand-painted in deep muted tones of green and burgundy with bright gold accented bases. The figures are seated cross legged on large gold pillows. Please note the figural lamps are detailed on all four sides, so can be used in the center of a room and are not confined to being situated next to the wall.
